Terms of Use.

The basic terms that apply when using StageMate and this website.

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using StageMate, you agree to these Terms of Use and the applicable Google Play terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Product purpose

StageMate is a practice and organisation tool for performing arts activities including acting, voice, dance and performance exercises. It is not a substitute for professional medical, physiotherapy, mental health, safety or specialist instruction.

3. App content and custom exercises

The app includes practice exercises and allows users to create custom exercise content. Users are responsible for the custom content they enter and for deciding whether an exercise is appropriate for their abilities, environment and circumstances.

4. Safe and responsible use

Use reasonable care when practising physical, vocal or performance exercises. Stop an activity if it causes pain, dizziness, distress or an unsafe situation. Users should follow appropriate professional guidance where needed.

5. Availability and updates

SASCA Academy may improve, change, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for product development, security, legal compliance or platform compatibility. Device and operating-system compatibility can change over time.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, StageMate is provided for general practice support and SASCA Academy is not responsible for losses caused by misuse, unsupported devices, third-party platform failures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the app, applicable law or distribution requirements change. The effective date shown on this page will be updated when material revisions are made.
