1. Overview

StageMate is a performing arts practice application developed by SASCA ACADEMY LTD. The core app is designed to work offline. It does not require users to create a StageMate account or sign in to a SASCA Academy server.

2. Information stored in the app

StageMate stores practice information on the device so that its features can work. This can include:

  • Built-in and user-created exercise information.
  • Favorite exercise selections.
  • Completed practice session records, including timestamps and durations.
  • Practice statistics derived from local session history, such as weekly practice time and streaks.
  • Local app preferences such as onboarding completion.

This information is used to provide the app’s practice, history, favorites and progress features.

3. Data collection and sharing

The current StageMate build does not send the practice information described above to a SASCA Academy server. StageMate does not currently require an advertising SDK, analytics SDK, cloud account or social login to provide its core features.

Information that is accessed and processed only on the device is not transmitted to SASCA Academy by the app’s core practice functionality.

4. Android device backups

Android devices can provide operating-system backup and restore features. Depending on the device, Android version and the user’s backup settings, app data may be included in a device or account backup managed by the operating system or platform provider. SASCA Academy does not operate that backup service. Users can review device backup settings in Android.

5. Your control over local data

StageMate includes controls that allow users to manage local data:

  • Favorites can be individually removed or cleared from Settings.
  • Custom exercises can be edited or deleted.
  • Practice history and statistics can be reset from Settings.
  • Uninstalling the app removes its local application data from the device, subject to any separate operating-system backup or restore mechanism.

6. Children and younger users

StageMate is a general performing arts practice tool. The current app does not provide social networking, messaging, public profiles or user-to-user communication. If the product is later specifically directed to children, SASCA Academy will review and update the app, store disclosures and this policy to meet applicable requirements.

7. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated when StageMate’s features, data practices, legal requirements or third-party services change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
